INTERFACE DESIGN

The interface design acomplishs both primary Goals:

Feedback: You have information all time about what is going on, if you are close to die, if you are run out of ammo and which weapons you have now.

Control: Thanks to the keyboard and the mouse you almost can fell the link between your character and you, they are going to follow your thougts instantly.

The second Goals are acommplished with the same layouts:

Atmosfere: The graphics, the environment, the story and the characters help you to feel the atmosfere of this adventure.

Inmerse: The atmosfere and the diferent objetives with their trials and rewards are going to inmerse you in a very intensive virtual world.

The audio helps us to give an extra feedfback without focus in the game, at the same time the audio is going to eliminate the ambiguity.

Aesthetics & funtionality: the style of the interface has been designed to look nice and balance without compromise the funtionality.

CHARACTERS

TERESA

She is the “enlace” (link) of the maquis in the village. She is 35 years old but she looks younger. She lose all her family during the civil war and the police killed his husband because they suspect that he was communist. Now she help as much as possible the maquis.
She is 1,58 and around 50 kg.
She is quite pretty but she wear very humble dresses.
Teresa always have very soft movements however she is able to run very quick.
She carries an small knife in the pocket of her dress.

CHARACTERS

CAPTAIN TORRES

He is the villain in “Macchia Warfare”. Captain Torres is 38 years old. His father was soldier, his father´s father was soldier, and he is a soldier. He was a very proud officer during the Civil War, he was in the National side, of course. Torres is deranged, a psychopath who is impossible to defend. Even though his father's personality marked his existence — and is certainly one of the reasons for his mental disorder — that cannot be an excuse. It would seem to be very cynical to use that to justify or explain his cruel and cowardly acts. Actually, he became a officer of the Spanish Armed Police Force.
He is 1,62 m high and around 72 kg.
He shave every day very carefully, “ a clean aspect help to have a the mind clear”.
He is not fat, but he is not slim, he is stronger than he looks.
He always wears his uniform, (he is more careful with the uniform than with his own skin)
Al the complements that he wears are dark, (grey or black)
He always shows his gun very proud. It is a Astra 900, the Spanish copy of the Mauser C-96.
When he walk very quick you can see how he limp because a wound during the Civil war

THE COVER

This is a videogame for adults. The game will be classified MA15+, because it contains strong violence scenes.

"Macchia Warfare" is an action game, you need to use the reflexes, accuracy and timing to overcome obstacles. This videogame belongs a first-person shooter subgenre.

PC is the best option to play this videogame because they offer you more chances to control your character in the videogame; you can use the mouse and the keyboard with multiples combinations. However you should not find too much problems to use other platforms like video consoles.

CHARACTERS

JUAN

He is the main character of our story. Juan is around 25 years old. He has never left his village before the war. He was forced to join the “reds” during the war. His young brother was killed during the war, his father was arrest after the war and nobody knows if he is alive. And he is in the mountains with the “maquis” trying to avoid the government forces.
He is 1,70 m high and around 70 kg.
He looks older than 25, almost 40, his face expresion is always concern and his skin is like old and thick leather.
He doesn´t shave very often, less than one per week.
He is very slim, the life in the mountains is not easy and they don’t find food easily.
He always wears very old cloths and they look like if they are too big for him.
He always wears a big grey scarf and an old black beret.
He has to wear winter cloths because the temperature in the mountains is very cold.
He always brings a heavy old shotgun.
He walks very quick and light like he was always on hurry.
He always has a cigarette in between his fingers, he says it helps him to get warm and alert.
