"Macchia Warfare" is an action game, you need to use the reflexes, accuracy and timing to overcome obstacles. This videogame belongs a first-person shooter subgenre.

PC is the best option to play this videogame because they offer you more chances to control your character in the videogame; you can use the mouse and the keyboard with multiples combinations. However you should not find too much problems to use other platforms like video consoles.

CHARACTERS

JUAN

He is the main character of our story. Juan is around 25 years old. He has never left his village before the war. He was forced to join the “reds” during the war. His young brother was killed during the war, his father was arrest after the war and nobody knows if he is alive. And he is in the mountains with the “maquis” trying to avoid the government forces.
He is 1,70 m high and around 70 kg.
He looks older than 25, almost 40, his face expresion is always concern and his skin is like old and thick leather.
He doesn´t shave very often, less than one per week.
He is very slim, the life in the mountains is not easy and they don’t find food easily.
He always wears very old cloths and they look like if they are too big for him.
He always wears a big grey scarf and an old black beret.
He has to wear winter cloths because the temperature in the mountains is very cold.
He always brings a heavy old shotgun.
He walks very quick and light like he was always on hurry.
He always has a cigarette in between his fingers, he says it helps him to get warm and alert.

STEALTH

The main play mechanic of the game is stealth.
You are fighting against very powerful forces for this reason your mates and you have to fight a kind of guerrilla warfare.
You need to hide as much as you can, the surprise is your ally. As soon as the alarm is done you will not have to much posibilities to escape.

You must to use all the hiding places to avoid the goverment forces, trees, holes in the ground, rivers, houses, etc.

You should wait the best moment for attempt your mission, always try to do the different actions when the soldiers are amusing and you will have more chances to accomplish your mission.



SHOOT / KILL

You are fighting for your principles, your freedom, and the most important, for your life.
The government forces will not show mercy if they find you. The question is to Kill or to be Killed.

You only must kill in extreme situations, to survive or accomplish your main objetive, remember if you use the strenght instead the astuteness you are going to die very soon however in some situations kill is the only key to reach your goal.


GAME´S OBJETIVES

1.- The first objective is to reach the village without be seen by the Government Forces.
2.- The second objective is to reach the police barracks trying to kill the smallest number of police in order to avoid the total alarm.
3.-The third objective is to steal the explosives from the Police Barracks.
4.-The forth objective is to reach the mill avoiding the total alarm.
5.-The fifth and last objective is tried to be alive enough time to blow up the mill.
